No all you do is click Dictionaries, choose the word you approved
erroneously and delete the word.
Close the dictionary and if you want to then run spell checker again.

p.s. You can even "add" words to the dictionary.

Thanks for that.  It shows what I discovered how to do, but - and it's a big
BUT! - you need to have the Spell Checker find a word it doesn't recognize
in order to be able to get to that "editing" screen.
