Is this happening for everyone or just a particular couple?

Are you using an English version of Legacy or one of the language versions? I'm aware that there is some problem in Dutch but it wasn't in the English version.

If it's just a particular couple, make sure that you don't have their status as unmarried or the checkbox "this couple didn't marry" checked. They invoke the unmarried wording. Also check the wording tab and see if an override has been entered or wrong wording not cleared.

If it's a particular couple more information could help. If it's everyone, check Options - Customise 8.7 for your default "marriage" wording.
