Add the two biological parents if they are not already in your database, mark them as no evidence of a marriage (the new wording for this couple did not marry). If they are in your database just select them or create a marriage between them if they are not married to each other.

Attach the youngster to the couple as a second set of parents, using link to existing son. You will be warned he already has a set of parents.

Go to the adoptive parents and right click on any child then select Children settings. Select the adopted son and set his rel to mother and father as adopted.

I am working on a youngster who was adopted by a couple and now have just discovered the child's biological mother and father (not a couple).  In Legacy should I list his biological mother and father for whom I have their parents and grandparents? And this baby was adopted when he was an infant, how do I list the adoptive parents? I know how to tick off the differences in the records, but I do not know how to list the newfound biological families? Both are important to this man who is now in his 50's.

Thanking you in advance for your careful explanation of how to list both families.
