Hello Alexander, there is a license problem when you link openssl against GPL software. See
http://www.openssl.org/support/faq.html#LEGAL2 http://www.gnome.org/~markmc/openssl-and-the-gpl.html This can be fixed, when you switch to gnutls or add an exception like this (which I have from the wget Debian package): "In addition, as a special exception, the Free Software Foundation gives permission to link the code of its release of Wget with the OpenSSL project's "OpenSSL" library (or with modified versions of it that use the same license as the "OpenSSL" library), and distribute the linked executables. You must obey the GNU General Public License in all respects for all of the code used other than "OpenSSL". If you modify this file, you may extend this exception to your version of the file, but you are not obligated to do so. If you do not wish to do so, delete this exception statement from your version." or the one suggested on the second link: * In addition, as a special exception, the copyright holders give * permission to link the code of portions of this program with the * OpenSSL library under certain conditions as described in each * individual source file, and distribute linked combinations * including the two. * You must obey the GNU General Public License in all respects * for all of the code used other than OpenSSL.
