Thanks for doing this, Alexander. Would you consider using a certificate that allows peer verification? Self-signed certificates can be MITM attacked, which is what I was hoping to avoid with HTTPS. Maybe use a free one via https://letsencrypt.org/ ? It's really easy to get setup, it's free, and it was setup (and is run) by reputable people.
