I used the libvo library also...met with some more
errors..this time related to X11..solved that also but
now I got stuck with the folowing errors.

/usr/X11/lib/libXext.a(XShm.o): In function
`XShmCreateImage':
(.text+0xb6d): undefined reference to
`_XGetScanlinePad'
/usr/X11/lib/libXext.a(XShm.o): In function
`XShmCreateImage':
(.text+0xbbc): undefined reference to
`_XInitImageFuncPtrs'
/usr/X11/lib/libXext.a(XShm.o): In function
`XShmCreateImage':
(.text+0xbfe): undefined reference to
`_XGetBitsPerPixel'

Hopefully next time I will run it successfully.
