The issue seems to be with paragraph format.
Go to the paragraph below to the formula with the issue.
Select up, including the formula.
Use [Ctrl+M] to clear the direct formats.
Now it is show fine.
If you have active Menu/View/Formatting Marks, you can see the different
heights of the paragraphs.
So not a bug, but a formatting issue.
