Nothing I can do with any of the picture properties will fix it. If I copy the contents and paste into a new document, it's absolutely fine. The pictures are correct. If I re-save the original imported document into a new format (eg, .odt), the white margin is still there. So, it's a document property. I hope this is helpful.
