I have the same problem.

uname -a
    Linux XXXXX 3.2.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.2.68-1+deb7u2 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Downloaded from:
   
http://tdf.xfree.com.ar/libreoffice/stable/5.0.0/deb/x86/LibreOffice_5.0.0_Linux_x86_deb.tar.gz

Installed with:
    sudo dpkg -i *.deb

Commands executed
    libreoffice5.0
    libreoffice5.0 --writer
    /opt/libreoffice5.0/program/soffice

With all previous commands I get:

    /usr/local/bin/libreoffice5.0: 161: exec:
/opt/libreoffice5.0/program/oosplash: not found

    or

    /opt/libreoffice5.0/program/soffice: 161: exec:
/opt/libreoffice5.0/program/oosplash: not found
