--- Comment #1 from V Stuart Foote <vstuart.fo...@utsa.edu> ---
As in the screen clip of the Error, the installation media is suspect.

Several steps.

1. make sure LibreOffice and Apache OpenOffice are not running. Check for
soffice.exe and soffice.bin in the Task manager (the Details tab for > Win 8).

2. check the Hash value of the .MSI installer you end up with. Here is direct
link to the archive for the current 5.0.3.2 build, and its mirrorlist meta data
including the Hash.

http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/5.0.3.2/win/x86_64/LibreOffice_5.0.3.2_Win_x64.msi

http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/5.0.3.2/win/x86_64/LibreOffice_5.0.3.2_Win_x64.msi.mirrorlist

Be sure the .MSI you start with, matches its Hash value--simplest way to be
sure you have a complete and valid install media.

3. when you have verified the installer's Hash value matches. Then launch a
command window (cmd. exe) "Run as Administrator". In it navigate to the
location you downloaded to, and issue this command:

"msiexec.exe /i LibreOffice_5.0.3.2_Win_x64.msi /L*v install5032.log"

If you have any issues still, Zip the log file and post it here.
