On the subject of harddrives, I tried switching a hd that had a 5mah rating
with one that had a 5A rating. Both were 5V. The computer will boot off
the bios, but then told me to put in a system disk. Long story short, how
important is it to match the amperage ratings when replacing harddrives?
The bios did recognize the new harddrive, but exiting setup yielded the same
insert system disk message.
