I tried this with Minidisc batteries, cost me �5 ($8) for the three needed.

The ratings for the batteries would match up OK, but it didnt work for very
long. I'd love to know why as I was always under the impression that the mAh
rating was the deciding factor, and if this matches the original Libretto
battery, then it should work.
I'd be interesting in assisting if it is any use to you, and vice versa.
