I don't set Reply-To: at all.  My mail program (mutt) sets
Mail-Followup-To: to the list address and to you.  If yours had set
Mail-Followup-To: to the list only, then replies from me would also
go to the list only, and set Mail-Followup-To: to the list only.

The handling of this header isn't mandated, so there may be mail
programs that mishandle it.  I've never heard of any reacting the
way you described, unless maybe your mail program doesn't know
that [EMAIL PROTECTED] is you.
