https://gitlab.com/lilypond/lilypond/-/merge_requests/1035 seems to help. With that change, I could run doc + doc-clean ~5 times in a row without crashes. Semi related - it looks like GUILE 2.2 is a ~30% slowdown relative to 1.8.
