Rehearsal mark visibility-lambda property

Using 1.6.6 on Debian Sarge/Sid and copying this from this section:

Node:Rehearsal marks, Next:Bar numbers, Up:Writing parts

of the 1.6.6 manual:

\property Score.RehearsalMark \override
#'visibility-lambda = #begin-of-line-invisible

and applying it like this:

\global
\property Score.BarNumber \override #'padding = #3
\property Score.RehearsalMark \override
#'visibility-lambda = #begin-of-line-invisible

I get:

Interpreting music...warning: Can't find property type-check for `visibility-lambda' (backend-type?). Perhaps you made a typing error?

If this isn't enough information I will try a complete example.
