Hi Bernhard, This sort of publisher code may be common in Germany but I have never seen it here in Australia, at least, or in scores from Europe in general. Publishers put all sorts of codes and private numbers on sheafs of pages for printing to help with binding and so on, although this seems now old fashioned with modern print machinery. There is no special search engine for this information unless it is specific to some German publishing industry standard, but I doubt it.

Looking for sheet music with the code of the bottom of commercial music on commercial music sheets there is a code at the bottom of the pages indicating the publishers and the edition of that piece/book. I have this code and want to look up the publisher and the information whether that piece of music is not available. With google I was not successfull when I tried to search for "B.N.B. 140". Therefore I ask here what search engine supports this code? I found it once for another piece but there should be a database to search within, hopefully. _______________________________________________ lilypond-user mailing list lilypond-user@gnu.org https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/lilypond-user
