A user hold the opinion LinCityNG could utilize less system resources and is using too much cpu time at the moment. CCing the original bug submitter. I think he can shed some light on his hardware configuration and should provide more information. Personally i can play LinCityNG without the proprietary Nvidia driver using a Geforce 9600 GT graphic card. The game works fine with Nouveau drivers and OpenGL in 1024x768 and fullscreen mode. As soon as the game starts it utilizes 50-60% CPU time. I'm running a Core Duo @2.8 Ghz. The bug submitter uses a AMD Sempron CPU @2.4 GHz and experiences similar values. I don't know whether these values are the rule, but i can play the game without proprietary drivers, so it can't be too bad. If the original bug submitter won't provide additional information, please feel free to close this bug report. (Something like SDL Mode 1024x768) Which video driver/video card do you use?
