I like that analogy.
We even have people whe insist putting the wrong side of the
instrument in their mouth because that side also has a hole.
Then demand the vendor should focus on make it work like that.

Don't fool yourself. Running a lot of Linux images on VM is
different from what we did in the past. In some ways it is
the worst of two worlds. They're as big as MVS guests, but
you have as many as PROFS users. Even those old VMers will
need to practice a lot.
