has anyone moved db2 data from vse to Linux db2?? i have gotten the export to work..
it exports a db2 table to a pc hard disk in ixf format i assume the import will work the same.. what i am needing is the ddl (data def lang) for the table define. i don't want to have to define all my tables on Linux i should be able to import that to Linux for creation.. if that can't be done i guess i need to use something else besides db2.. maybe Mysql or Post Sql.. or whatever if db2 can't move the data i might as well use another database..one that is free.. thanks Ralph
