As many/most of you have noticed, I've not been able to keep the main page of the web site updated for quite a while. Other parts have been a little better, but could be better as well. My apologies for that, and I will try to do something about it. I do have a reason (although not an excuse) which I'll be announcing here fairly soon.
Before I herniate myself trying to catch up with all the old traffic, I wanted to ask the list if they think the running commentary/summarization of the list traffic was/is a worthwhile thing. If so, fine, I'll try to catch it up. If not, then the question becomes, what _should_ be on the "front page" of the newspaper, so to speak? Is there something that would be of more value to have there? I'm willing to listen to suggestions. I'm divided as to whether to request that answers be sent off-list. I don't necessarily want people to have to read all the responses that don't care much. But, I also like the idea that answers generate new ideas, etc. So, for now, I'll say send responses to the list. If things get too ugly, I'll request that any further traffic be taken off-list.
