We are getting ready to move from our old cpu to a new z114. I think most of my z/Linux guest machines will move to the new equipment without any problems, but I have one z/Linux machine that was built on zfcp dasd only, and it has me worried. I can change the world wide information in the vm profile exec, but how do I change the zipl.conf information, and the zfcp definition for the / dasd?
Has anyone migrated a z/Linux image that boots from zFCP dasd from one machine to another? Is there anything I can do so that VM will make things easier?
