I think the following line is where you're getting into trouble. If you're going to be using dirmaint, _use_ dirmaint. Don't manually edit the user directory entry. Use the dirmaint commands to add space to the guest. Doing anything else is just going to cause problems. > edit the direct enttry for the guest > attaching the formatted dasd to it.
