I once tried to make it work - unfortunately I don't remember where my 
patches are (I think I removed it).

However I think it is not worth spending time on it. The devices I had (I 
sold them, in windows with the native software it worked) where very very 
unstable when for example just scanning for channels. Disconnecting all 
the time and not delivering data after sometime (software-resetting didn't 
help). The StarBox2 was behaving much better.

The conclusion for me was, that the StarBox1 was really a beta-version and 
the customers where the beta-testers. Taiwanese market rules are sometimes 
strange.

Sorry, if you really want to help, spend your time on another device.. It 
will be more fun in the end.
