OK, I now can confirm this bug. IMO, it's due to a change in live-initramfs/live-boot. I used fai-cd and grub1 inside the nfsroot, created a bootable USB stick, and the HOSTNAME=demohost in the kernel command line. When booting the stick the host name is set to: host I guess, there are more things to fix for getting fai-cd working with squeeze and lenny and grub1 and grub2.\ or whatever combination. -- regards Thomas
