well, highly irregular, but cdrecord lets you do stupid things if you
screw up the commandline, maybe someone wrote a WAV file directly when
they were trying to burn music? try playing this in xmms or something,
see if it is really audio.

basically, I think it lets you burn any file without checking if it's a
legal iso or UDF image. that way you can eurn even a read-only ext2fs on
a cd, though it's probably a very bad idea :)
