Ok if you could atleast get a gtk-devel src rpm..and do a rpm install may be in this or some other machine, you should find the gtk-devel tar file in/usr/src/redhat/SOURCES and a spec file in /usr/src/redhat/SPECS(Which may also have what patches you have to apply to make the source compile) > /var/lib/rpm, i can no longer go by this route. i did do a "rpm -iv > --nodeps" with this rpm but this installed some empty links that still > dont work. > (relating to my /var/lib/rpm problem, I also tried rpmdb --initdb and > --rebuilddb but no luck.
