There is basic support for this. See the DSS doc:

/sys/devices/platform/omapdss/display? directory:
...
timings         Display timings (pixclock,xres/hfp/hbp/hsw,yres/vfp/vbp/vsw)
                When writing, two special timings are accepted for tv-out:
                "pal" and "ntsc"
