If anyone is interested in playing around with it, I can set up a
dedicated machine with the cam hooked up to it 24/7. So shell access and
the proper privileges to actually do some hacking on it are no problem,
if that's easier for you. Just don't post videos of me dancing around
naked in my room to the Internet. ;)
now, from what I gathered based on the "Microdia" in the output of lsusb
it should be pretty similar in hardware to the cams already supported by
the sn9c102 driver, in which case support should be pretty
straightforward. I tried messing around with the driver and recompiling,
but since I'm not skilled in driver development I failed rather
horribly.
Anyway, feel free to bug me for more info on the cam, or for a shell
account with proper privileges to play around with it.
