Has anyone looked at the feasibility of writing a driver to support the Belkin Video Bus II USB video capture widget (http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=1&Product_Id =88962)? I opened mine up, and it uses the Nogatech USBvision II NT1004 chipset. The datasheet is available at www.nogatech.com. The video codec is a Philips SAA7113 (datasheet at http://www-us6.semiconductors.com/pip/SAA7113H), and the audio codecs are Oki MSM7716 (datasheet at http://www.okisemi.com/communicator/public/nf/docs/Intro-3530.html). This is a pretty slick little device, at $99.99 USD retail. Image quality isn't bad, although with the Windows drivers, I never could figure out how to get 640x480. Didn't play with the audio side, but the specs look decent enough. --John _______________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, use the last form field at: http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-usb-users
