Hello again. I compiled everything as modules. Everything loads right. Even the modem's activity light is blinking, as if it had response from the other side. Without driver, the light wouldn't be blinking. I didn't compile the cdc-acm because it says it is for ISDN and analog modems (I tried it before, same thing). I think I'm almost there. The only thing's left is to bring the interface up. What iface do I have to bring up, eth0 or usb0? If I do a "ifconfig eth0" or "ifconfig usb0", it says "Device not found". Anyone with a similar modem having luck with 2.5 kernels? Many thanks to Greg and to all the mailing list members =) .
