Re: the external USB HD, I can't see a way around it. I'm in Western Australia, where
everyone usually stocks the same 1 or 2 items and I doubt they'd let me bring one
home. About the only other alternative I can think of is to set up my laptop with
knoppix off CD and see whether I can take it into the shop. Hmm.
