Hello,
I am using a logitech 4000 usb camera which has a built in microphpne.
(the microphone also use the usb port by which the camera is connected)
Now I want to test that this microphone works with my machine (I use redhat 7.3 platform).

I have , apart from this camera , a PCI sound card installed on this machine ; this soundcard
is recognized by the RH machine when booting , and this soundcard works fine.

Now I intend to use this usb microphone in my application , but before
I want to test it with some other ready-made application.
Does anybody know of such an application ?

and how do I know where the usbaudio device is (is it /usb/dsp1 , usb/dsp2 , or
something else ? the log of /var/log/messages which is produced by plugging the
camera is below ).

regards,
sting
