After the announcement that the problem is present on different readers on
different operating systems (Linux, MacOS), we have identified that the bug
does not come from Linux.
The bug is located on reader side at USB stack level.

Indeed we have upgraded the SCR331 firmware and the version 5.x solves this bug.
I have tested it successfully with the firmware 5.13

Now that we know that the bug is on reader side, we close this bug report and we
will do a bug report to the manufacturers involved.
