Hello,

I upgraded to Fedora Core 3 and now my box hangs as soon as I connect
any USB devices when the ehci-hcd kernel module is loaded.

I tried to connect a Logitech optical USB mouse (M/N: M-BJ69,
P/N: 830667-0000) and a 8-in-1 USB 2.0 card reader.

The mainboard is a ASRock K7S8X.

With ohci-hcd and ehci-hcd modules loaded and no devices connected:

When ehci-hcd is loaded, as soon as I connect a device, the machine hangs.
It also hangs when a device is connected and the ehci-hcd module is loaded.
There is no output on the console. Unplugging the device doesn't help, I have
to reset.
When only ohci-hcd is loaded, it works, alas at USB 1.1 speeds.

Any ideas? Need additional data?

Thanks,
-Sven
