hello all, I am facing some throughtput relating problem in a usb based modem driver. I am using DSL line as phy layer and at my host i have usb interface. The DSL line is trained at downstream 8Mb/s and i am using isochronous pipe in downstream. The pipe is configured with using 32 urbs in one go and no of packets in one urb is one. also maximum packet size is 1000 bytes. The Polling interval is 0 in case of 2.4.20 linux kernel. Transfer flags are OR of In direction and as soon as possible.
However instead of getting a speed of close ot 6-7 Mb/s, i am getting a speed of some 800Kb/s. This is very low and I think that there is some problem in USB configuration i have deployed. I am using both 2.4.20 kernel and 2.6.9 series kernel but gettign same result. Can some help me out as to where can the mistake lie. bye, nikhil ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
