Hi,

I have put my old 2,5" notebook disk into an external usb hard disk
enclosure. Unfortunately while reading/writing several resets (reset high
speed USB device) happen with large timeouts betweens them, reducing the
overall transfer rate.
First I thought its my very cheap disk enclosure and so just bought a new
more expensive box with an additional ps/2 power connector. Still, the
problem remains.
To debug the problem I build usb modules with full debugging enabled.
Unfortunately I have no I idea what all those detailed messages mean :(

http://www.pci.uni-heidelberg.de/tc/usr/bernd/downloads/scsi-reset/reset.log.bz2
(about 7MB bunziped, all messages between two resets).

Thanks in advance for any help,
Bernd
