Hello, Have you tried the following project,
"http://sourceforge.net/projects/usb-vhci/";, it is similar to USB/IP but with different approach. Its not included in the linux kernel though. Just try it instructions are given in the site. Also it doesn't seems to work with latest kernel releases v3.0+.
