Other iso files play ok in mplayer, vlc requires the chanel to be selected.

Answering my own query - as I have now got the answer for mplayer.....
From the command line, enter 'mplayer dvd://1 -dvd-device /path to
file.iso'
Still looking for what is needed for vlc to start with sound. At present
it lloks like I need to separately select the audio track - 1 of 33 in 1
instance.
