Greetings All,

I've got a question for the list: I've got a Lenovo U330 that I've been
trying to get the webcam working correctly - it displays an image (see
below) but it is inverted. By reloading the uvcvideo module with the
quirks=2 parameter I've managed to get output with luvcview, cheese and
ekiga, but the image is upside down.

I've been researching the issue and my best guess is that this particular
webcam (sometimes called an Acer Bison) is too new to have actual support
(the Device ID isn't listed, but 5986:0203 is) and I came to a couple of
posts on this list where Laurent seemed to indicate that you a userspace fix
to this may have been implemented in the libv4l(2) library, but I can't
seem to find it. Do I need to grab the latest source and/or patches and
custom compile a module or is this something coming or <gasp> impossible.

Thanks for your time.

Kevin Reis
