Peter,

Sine Nomine Associates has a source RPM (SRPM) for VNC on Linux/390 on their
web site (http://www.sinenomine.net/downloads/vnc-3.3.3r1-2.src.rpm).  You
would download that, then do an "rpm -i vnc-3.3.3r1-2.src.rpm" and then "cd"
to the SPECS directory and do an "rpm -bb whatever.the.name.is.spec"
followed by "rpm -i ../RPMS/name.of.the.rpm"
