You don't need to install any special packages. You need to learn the
procedure for taking backups and restoring using existing commands in
your OS. I forgot the commands but I remember in my RHEL classes, our
professor had backed up an entire Solaris OS from a Sun machine, on a
tape drive, formatted the partition and reinstalled the entire system by
simply restoring from the tape drive.
