Hello All, I am running a machine with OpenSuse 2.6.18. Recently i am viewing "Bad page state in process <>" errors. I googled for this error but couldnt get a concrete reason for the error to occur. Most of the ppl have suggested to upgrade kernel.
Can someone help me in reasoning out this error message. Below is a sample error msg: Bad page state in process 'video' page:c18d5310 flags:0xc0000000 mapping:00000000 mapcount:0 count:-2 Trying to fix it up, but a reboot is needed Backtrace: .. .. The above snapshot shows the process as 'video' but this is not consistent. Sometimes i find the error message in some other processes also. Interesting thing i noticed but is that in all cases the page was same "page:c18d5310". Looking for your help. Thanks, Fazlin
