perhaps you didn't read a mail in the LisaList two days ago. So you

Do NOT do it with OS 9.2
Use OS 4.1 or 5.1 or 6.03 or sth. like that to format your drive.
Use a Mac Plus or sth. like that, when doing so.
THEN you will have no problems, when connecting it to a Lisa running

I have tried to mount the drive on my MacPortable so that I can format
it with some older system that OS9, however the Portable refuses to
see the external HD.
You will have to mount your HD now with FWB Toolkit. It will be easier
to reformat the Disk again with OS 4 to 6, although it could be a
termination problem with the portable, too - not only a software
problem due to the FWB driver
So the good news is the SCSI card seems to be working (I mounted the
drive once at least), I just need to figure out the formatting I
think.
