I was scheduled for 10:30 AM to present my views about the WIPO deliberations on the DNS appeals resolution process. I had it all set out what I wanted to say. With referances and accompanying hard copy. I chose not to attend. I will, in future choose to have nothing further to do with any WIPO centred efforts or initiatives. WIPO represents only the interests of large and powerful corporate Trademark interests. The process they are engaging in is no more than a way to discount and dismiss those whose true interests are at stake and will be undermined by their inevitable conclusions: the general public (of which I am, first and foremost, one). I will provide none of my energy to WIPO and their backers for it will only be used, one way or the other, to justify an utterly unacceptable outcome in favour of TM holders. Make no mistake: WIPO, in colusion with ICANN, are setting up a system that will be wholey dominated by corporations. Individuals and our concerns will be disregarded and denigrated. This will be my last contribution to this list and I request that any and all referances to my name or any organization or submission I have made in the past be REMOVED from WIPO's WWW site and other documentation.
