Also along those same lines, when looking at about:config in Firefox, I noticed network.buffer.cache.size default of 4096 I doubled that to 8192, and seems to have sped things up a bit. Pages load a bit quicker and media downloads a bit faster. Might even experiment with increasing it even more :) -- William L.
