Fran, Looks like this fell into place nicely. Thanks to John for getting in contact with Sarasota and establishing the soon to be partnership. Having a city behind us is the best thing for all of FLEAA and all regional chapters. Can't say thanks enough John for your hard work!
If you can email me a press release for Michele OR if you could include the west coast and south west coast chapters in a press release to Michele so she can get the word spread and the media involved on her end. I am sure Sarasota will thank us for backing their go green program and website as well. As long as the fort myers visit is on a weekend day I can surely make it down with as many club members as well. We will just have to have a group effort to get all the EVs towed down to both the Sarasota and Fort Myers EVI events. I have a lincoln towncar that can fitted for a hitch as well as a 1992 oldsmobile 98. Both cars could tow an EV to each event. Unfortunately they are not electric or grease burning like Matt's Excursion. I apologize if this is all short notice. 1 month notice is a bit short to arrange everyone to get together for an event in Sarasota and Fort Myers. As we get better at forecasting events there can be more notice.
