Don't forget this saturday, February 7th, at 10am is our next meeting at Black Bay Technologies.
For this meeting we have a Tropica electric car that was produced in 1995. This car was made by the creators of the Citicar in Sebring, FL. The car is completely crash tested and street legal. Cruises at about 50 to 55 mph for about 40 miles (estimated, we do not know the exact range as of yet) Black Bay put new batteries in and added a box to allow charging of each of the twelve 6 volt batteries individually for balancing, very nice job. We had a small group do a little more work to the Jetta. This saturday we hope to have the mounting plate for the Jetta centered and make the mounting brackets to allow us to finally mount the Motor.
