Hi all,

I've just received commit access to log4net and already applied my own
patches which don't address anyting major:

* ensured line-ends are correct (this will create a huge diff for those
with a checkout on platforms where the native line-end is not CRLF)

I still may have missed some files.

* ensured all files have the proper Apache license header - without that
we wouln't be able to do a release. Again, pretty big diff.

* ensured the tests compile on .NET 2.0 as this is what NAnt uses on my
  machine by default.

I plan to bring forward a release proposal and lay out which patches I
intend to apply in a separate mail later, maybe not even today.

All those commits - as well as future commits - generate diff emails
going to [email protected] that you can subscribe to by
sending an email to [email protected] if you
interested in following the changes. I don't think this page is
advertized on the log4net site.

Unfortunately the list doesn't appear to have a public visible archive,
I'll open a ticket to change that.

Stefan
