I think I had the same problem just 2 days ago, by running "X :1 -query my_server" to login remotely (manually). Client was an EEEPC 901 (intel graphics), Ubuntu 32b, Server was an asus laptop, Ubuntu 64b, nvidia graphics. I just gave up since I hadn't the time to find out the bug, but I may try it again if you want. However, I'm not sure if LTSP-discuss is the right place to talk about this... (a reference to Scott's mail of yesterday in the thread about Redhat Spice/LTSP, quite not wrong apparently!)
