Hi again... ;-)

The X_BLANKING parameter is set to 6 sec in lts.conf, which is good when
the ldm fires up and nobody logs in.

However, after a user logs in I would like to change this setting.
In my former lenny ltsp setup I did this in a script
/etc/X11/Xsession.d/39x11-xset which contained a single line

xset dpms 720 780 900

and AFAIR it worked.

Now, in this squeeze ltsp setup it doesn't... The 'xset -q' typing it in
an xterm tells me about "600 600 600", however, the screen blanks according
to the original X_BLANKING timing... If I execute xset as it is in the
script that should run during the login process, it works.

Why cannot the timing set in the Xsession.d script? (those scripts are
run, I am sure) Or how ought to be this done?

TIA,
--
Zsolt
